Dear Collins Family,
Welcome to the 2023-24 school year! We are thrilled to welcome students and staff back to school on Wednesday, August 16th at 8:05 am. We hope that you were able to rest, relax, and enjoy all the pleasures that come with summer vacation. We are eager and very excited to begin what promises to be a very successful year as we focus on continuous improvement in teaching and learning, social emotional supports, and all areas of our school environment. A special welcome to all new preschool, transitional kindergarten, and kindergarten families joining school for the first time. This year our theme is “Collins Colts Rise to the Challenge.”
We are also very enthusiastic about working with the active and involved parents that make Collins School a great place to learn and grow. You are encouraged to become a member of our fabulous Collins Parent Teacher Association (PTA) as well as the School Site Council (SSC) and English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC). Volunteering and participating in events throughout the school year not only benefits your child, but all children in the Collins School community. Be on the lookout for details via Parent Square messages, flyers, and our school website.
