Principal's Message

Dear Collins School Community,
It is an honor to introduce myself as the new principal of Captain Raymond Collins Elementary School and join this vibrant school community. I feel very fortunate to be a part of this school and to support students and families.
Over the past 25+ years, I have served students as a teacher at Jefferson and Tanner Schools, Instructional Coach at Keppel School, Assistant Principal at Jackson MS, and Principal at Roosevelt School. I am excited to bring my skills as an educational leader to Collins School and to work with you as a partner in education to ensure your child’s success.
One of the most important aspects of my work will be building strong relationships with students, teachers, and families. I will be in classrooms and out during arrival, recesses, lunches, and dismissal getting to know your child(ren).  You can also expect that I will work closely with teachers to make sure students are exposed to curriculum and instruction that is engaging and challenging. I look forward to meeting you as we begin this new and exciting school year together!
In partnership,
Margie A. Domino
Principal, Capt. Raymond Collins School
